With the development of science and technology, people are no longer satisfied to stay on the Earth, more and more countries take part in exploring outer space or planet. However, it is ironical that when our view could reach the edge of solar system, or even further, it is hard for us to see or do something for poverty and diseases on our planet. Since I always hold a belief that the primary task of a government is to make its people live happily, I definitely disagree with spending money on exploring outer space. No issue is more important today than this one that, poverty and diseases flood almost every corner on the Earth. Seldom could a country claim that these serious problems are extinct, especially those poor or undeveloped countries, such as most countries of the Africa. To people, who live in these countries, life is a perpetual struggle against poverty and diseases. They do not want to know whether there are aliens, or where our earth came from, what they want is just to live a common live with enough basic needs. Should these countries invest exploiting out space? Even those developed countries, which are the eagerest to exploit out space, also have same problems, though situation there may be better. These governments should pay more attention to their people's living, or give more humanistic support to those poor or undeveloped countries. Maybe they have already done so, however, the seriousness of those problems indicates that what they have done is not enough. So, is it wise to invest exploiting out space while neglecting the problems inside our planet? In addition, it is venturesome to invest in exploring outer space. For one thing, as we all know, the investment needs a large number of money, sometimes more than billions of dollar, at the same time, the output is always unpredictable. Facts witness and provide many examples. Since the exploiting out space is such a very precious engineering that even a tiny mistake or occasion will result in a disaster. For example, weather conditions, birds, or aerolites outside the Earth, all of which would influence the track of the aircraft or destroy it. Why not spend these moneys on setting programs to train unemployed people for jobs or developing medical science against diseases. Naturally, it is human instinct to discover unknown area, which is also benefit to human beings throughout the history. However, when facing today's serious situation, it is time for us to be more realistic, and focus our energy on our planet. To sum up, as discussed above, due to serious situation on our earth and the unpredictable result, we should not spend money on exploring outer space.
