can you help me
20、A certain city ranks its days by raining:
1. ）heavy day---more than 2 inches of rain;
2. ）modest day---more than 1 inch but no more than 2;
3. ）light raining day--at least some visible rain but no more than 1.
4. ）no raining day---nothing. Then it says, in year X the NUMBER of modest is less than that in year Y; and the number of light rain is also less than that in year Y. however, the AMOUNT of rain in X is 20%(or 30%? but doesn't matter) more than that in Y. 大概是问如果以上statement正确的话, 下面which explaination can also be right?
a, the amount of modest rain is more than twice in year X than in year Y(very tricky)????????
b, the number of no raining day is....(unrelated)
c, the number of heavy raining day is less in year X than in year Y.
这一题起码花了我3-4分钟,在A, C之间犹豫不决, 后来勾C走人, 现在想想是对了...
b, d, e have some obvious errors=>they are out!
a somewhat contradicts info. provided by the statement, so a is out too. 这体花了我不少时间, 记得特牢.....
