What is the most important consideration in relationships? Different people would have different answer. My answer will be honest. As we know, It will never be too more to emphasize this virtue. In the following aspect of this article, I will explain why I give this answer.

Firstly, honest is the basis of any relationship. If we cannot keep honest when dealing with other person, or we cannot get honest response from others, there is no necessary to keep the relationship anymore. Taking imaging that if your lover lies to you, no matter what the reason is, what you felling will be? Will you feel exciting, sorrow or even you can just let it be?

Secondly, honest is just a responsibility that we should take. We all had been taught from very young age on that we should tell the truth and be honest in any circumstance. While, as we growing up, the virtue has be lost. We wouldn’t keep honest for many reasons, such as we don’t want to hurt others, and we even create the phrase “white lie” to dispute for our so called “virtue”. All of them are excuses in fact. We lie just because we dare to face the consequence and be afraid to be punished, although we know as well that it is what we have to confront.

Last but not the least, it will be embarrassed to be caught to lie, and we cannot control over the consequence at all. When the students in lower grade come to ask you some questions about the study or life, you cannot give him the suggestion as you have not such experience. While shaming to be laughed at, you choose to lie to him. At present, it seems just ok, nobody would find out. But, I am afraid after many years later, it would be a burden to you as your wrong suggestion would have such bad effort for him.

All in all, honest will be important consideration in any relationship. I will always tell the truth, and want my friends can telling me truth as well.
