我对这的理解是这个事实(许多senior citizens' organizations几乎完全由middle-class的人组成)这件事己造成质疑这些由由middle-class的人组成的organizations对elderly people无益

而题目要我们找支持…ANS D是我觉得支持的选项…….

我怎么觉得选Ｅ，我的理由是：

如果选Ｄ，可以这样否定，即使middle class elder people喜欢参加组织，但这些组织也可以为ecnomically disadvantaged elder people说话。这样critics的说法就被削弱了。因此我觉得Ｄ是中性的

而只有当人们加入组织，且组织的目的是为其成员说话的时候，critic的说法被加强了。１。加入组织时候你就成为member，因此按Ｅ进行推理，你加了组织，组织就会为你说话。２。按题目的事实，组织里几乎都是middle- class elder people，那这个组织就几乎只能为middle class 的人说话了。crtic 的说法也就比较合情理了，这里还有个假设是middle class 与ecnomiclaly disadvantaged不一样，但这似乎不是这个题的重点，如果非要在这里纠缠就么什么意思了，ＨＯＨＯ

而且这个题说的是middle-class elder people 与economically elder people 的矛盾吧，不是middle class与elder people的矛盾
