Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

  Always tellting the truth is the most important consideration in any relationship

Use specific reasons and examples too support your answer.

In our daily life,lies are unavoidable and everyone tells lies.However,Lies can be separated into two totally different scorts as the white lie and the lie made up on purpose,thus I cannot agree with the point that always telling the truth is the most important consideration in any relationship and I will analisize the reasons below.

In the first place,people need to lie sometimes when they communicate with their friends and families in case of hurting others’ feelings.It is a commonplace that people have different thoughts and ideas about life,love and the society but if they always tell the truth,they may have confilicts with others ,especially with their close friends and families, or make other people unhappy,.Here is an example from which I learn the reason.Once I talk with one of my friend about music,I am the kind of person with deep love in soft music,while he is crazy about rock music.As he asked my attitude about rock,I told him my true feelings that I didn’t like it at all and thought it was a little bit noisy even can do harm to people’s health if listen to it too often.Unfortunately,the result is obvious that he got angry with me and considered my words as a serious offense.Therefore,I learned from this event that we are supposed to think more about others’ feelings when we want to express our own ideas and sometimes we even should tell some white lies in order to avoid the conflict.

Usually,it is also a problem for us to decide whether we should tell the truth to strangers.As we know,the society and the people in this society are so complex,thus not all of us have the ability to judge someone correctly while we meet him at the first time ,so it might be a danger that a stranger know too much about our privacy.In addition,the news vary that some people believe strangers’ words,who turned out to be criminals,and got hurt at last.Therefore,we cannot deny the necessity of looking before leap while we make the decision about how much truth we can tell strangers.

Moreover,there is another case that people are not supposed to tell truth which is when people communicate with someone who has relationship with their job.It is easy to imagine that if one tells all the true infomation about his company to others,bussiness rivals in particular,that would be considered as a behaviour of sellout of his own company.These stuff would result in tragedy in company’s business and the company have to face to a great loss while the very employee would be fired or even be acused.

To make a conclusion,honesty is certainly considered as a good pesonnality while we cannot misuse it when we communicate with different kinds of people.Consequently,we are not supposed to tell the truth all the time but do it depend on the situation.
