1。On a certain sight-seeing tour, the ratio of the number of women to the number of children is about 5 to 2, what was the number of men on the sight-seeing tour?
1) On the sigh-seeing tour, the ratio of the number of children to the number of man was 5 to 11.
2)the number of women on the sight-seeing tour was less than 30.

answer C     why?

2. If n is a multiple of 5 and n=P^2 * Q, where P & Q are prime numbers, which of the following must be a multiple of 25?   answer P^2 Q^2    why?

3. the farm has more than twice as many cows as it has pigs, 该怎么理解？cows = twice pigs or pigs=twice cows

另外有一题CR, 一并放这儿吧

为什么 asthe former 错，应为As the?

1.women:child:men=25:10:22

women less than 30 =women 只有可能是25人(總不能沒有人吧) so men 22人

2.n is a multiple of 5 and n=P^2 * Q so P or Q at least one is a multiple of 5

and & Q are prime numbers so at least one of them is 5

which of the following must be a multiple of 25 P^2 Q^2

3.cows = twice pigs

4.很怪異的題文法都對不過句意沒有一定要former的感覺只能說簡潔吧

1) a, 不充分 b,不充分 but together==> 如果women少于30，then 5：2的最公倍数只能是5，即women有25，孩子有10. 再根据a.5：11 ===>可得，men 22

第2题，P、Q肯定有一个是5，所以P^2Q^2一定是25的倍数
