It is illogical to  infer a second and different effect from a cause which is known only by one particular effect.This is incorrect because the inicrrad effect must necessarily be produced by some different characteristic of the cause than is the observed effect,which already serves entirely to describe the cause.

这是一道logical error类比题...可是这段话是什么意思诶

从一个有单一效果的原因去推断另外的不同的效果是不符合逻辑的.这样做之所以不正确(不符逻辑),是因为只能是inicrrad的效果由原因(cause)的一些不同的特性产生的,而不是完全用来描述这个原因的已经观察到的(或知道的)效果.

(说了半天,就是:这个cause只能导出这个effect,如果要导出其他的effect,需要cause有其他特性进一步来支持.---即,有可能文中只给了cause的一个特性)
