marketing的一个消费者行为有关的model, 用AMOS做first-order factor analysis，为了判断各个factor之间的confirmatory and discriminant validity 时，我用AVE的方法（average variance extracted）, 请问，这个AVE是各个factor上的items 的 regressional weights的平均值？如果是，是用标准化以后的weights还是标准化以前的？如果不是，请问 AVE怎么算？或者在哪里找？

Are you doing one-factor confirmatory factor analysis? Why AVE? I use LISREL and have not heard AVE before.

SM1，lisrel需要语言基础，我用amos只需要用图形箭头表示因果关系，简单很多，对我这种没有语言基础的人。

用AVE判定convergent ,discriminant, 如果factor的 average variance extracted 大于0.5 可以说具备convergent validity；如果 AVE 大于squared correlation coefficients between factors, 可以说具备discriminant validity. 所以我想用 AVE判定，可是不明确怎么算。

请大家帮忙。

Does AMOS report RMSEA, CFI, NNFI, and chi-square? I think most academic papers report these indices rather than AVE. I use these indices to judge discriminant validy by comparing one-factor and two factor models. AVE?! I am afraid that I could not help.

yes, RMSEA,CFI,GFI,CHIsquare are all reflected. But I use them to show the model fit. The way you mentioned in judging discriminant validity was new to me. Thank you anyway, I will ask professor tomorrow and give his reply later.

貌似AVE在检验discriminant validity时，只是相对来讲比较简便的方法（因为比较省事儿），但并不是最流行的方法。

据我所知，无论是基于maximum likelihood estimation的需要编程的lisrel，还是直接图示化的amos，或是基于Partial least square的PLS软件都不能直接在程序中通过语句和命令来计算AVE值。AVE值需要依据计算公式利用其他数据，手动进行计算。

具体的计算公式可见：

楼上说的没错

需要公式，好像先算不固定path regressional weights 为1时，得出一个栏木大值，再套公式，感觉挺麻烦。

所以准备用 q +- 2（r）是否包括一来判断，可惜很多都包括一，说明discriminant validity 不怎么样
