148 of 185 Agree or disagree, "playing games teaches us something about life." "All work and no play make Jack a dull boy." In other words, besides our work, we need some recreations to entertain ourselves. Among various entertainments, I deem playing games is the best choice, and a game really has something to teach us.
Competition is what we first learned from a game. Nearly every game contains more than one player, and all players want to win the prize and the honor. Then, competition emerges between players. The most obvious example is "Boxing". In such a game two fighters must try their best to hit the specific parts of each other in order to get points. Further more, a Knock-off could immediately declare the winner.
As well as competition, we also learn about cooperation. In games, such as football, basketball, and baseball, there are usually two teams competing with each other. To win the match, players are important factors, but without cooperation, they will never win. Take Michael Jordan for example, everybody all over the world knows that he used to be the best player in NBA, and he had led Chicago Bulls to win the NBA champion ring because he cooperated with his mates so well.
After a fierce game the result is of great significance too. It contains cheers and tears, sweetness and bitterness, success and failure. And that is what the life is like and what we must experience. If we success, we should aim at a higher goal. Never be proud of what you have done, it is merely the past of your life. If we failed, we should examine why we fail and work harder preparing to win next time. Remember that in every adversity lies opportunity.
In conclusion, things about life a game could teach are more than I listed above. Every one living on this small planet should participate in games to get some benefits from it.
