What determines your chance to get job offers is really dempendent on personal ability!

I know a girl who has just got a good IT consulting offer with salary>70k USD and good benefit. You can't even see her MBA program among the top 100!

Her status is like below:

Born in 80's, undergraduate in a famous u in China majored in English, got full scholarship (including living stipend) and admitted directly to the MBA program without any w.e. The MBA U is in a big city in US. And she had two par-time jobs in this city. She said she earned almost the same as a full time job! And she led a really happy life when she studied. She even traveled in Europe last December. And I think she is very lovely and nice. When she looked for jobs, her colleagues in her part-time job company even motivated their relatives and friends to help her!

Now she is only less than 25 years old!

IT consulting should not be the career track for MBA. It's a dead end job w/ not much up potential.

I believe she will have a lot of opportunities to try different things. I found in my company that personal ability is just one thing, communications skill is really important. Those good at communication can get better opportunities.

That girl majored in English, and concerntrated on IT management in MBA program. Do you think she has advantage on professional skill? I don't think so. I just think her communications skill and oral English helped her a lot. In fact, a lot of professional skills are not so hard to learn. If you work hard, you will grasp them in the work. But personal communication is really hard to learn.

1. "she had two par-time jobs in this city. She said she earned almost the same as a full time job!"; 2."

而且full time薪水的根据不是MBA full time的薪水,我想她是指average full time的薪水吧。
