HIB is not that hard to get! For those who study in top 50 schools, H1B is a piece of cake if you would not demand too much, I mean an ok job is not hard to get.

说得好！长志气、鼓干劲！What a big deal？！Rules are rules，reality is reality。
We all have chances in America。 Just do our best and challenge the
cliche. It'll pay off, as has been proved in many Chinese students'
experience.

When you get the first H1-B, the later transfer is really easy (since
you will not take quota). So most of my friends got the first job,
thus, the first H1-B, then jumped and jumped. One of my friends even
jumped 4 times and now in Citibank... :-) Hope it helps.



By the way, when I was in middle west US, I never know so many things.
Only after I came to big cities, I got so much information... :-)



I think the discussion is helpful since some friends in China who may
not have any information about US. Myself can be an example. If I have
consulted friends in US before I applied and accepted offer, I would
have a better time. Most of my lessons are from painful experience...

H1B能JUMP几次或几年呢？

Totally 6 years for H1-B. If you file green card application, they you can extend each year till you get the card.



There is no limits on the jumping. My friend jumped 4 times within 1.5 years... :-)
