文中推理为:所有语言能描述L和D----有些概念是共同的-----有共同的ORIGIN.

C选项:并非有共同的槪念,才都能描述L和D, 而是面临SIMILAR STIMULI

作者想通过darkness和lightness在不同语言中的存在，作为common origin的证据。

但是C给出了另外一种解释。所以否定了作者的推论。

D错误，是因为原文讨论human languages，和dolphin对比，out of scope。

问个问题，和 dolphin对比怎么就是out of scope了?

我在做lsat的过程中，也看到一些out of scope，就像上述一样的对比，都是正确答案

可惜既不起原题了

上面的解释看不懂，请NN再解释一下C为什么是答案。
