但那人的说法是:儿童阅读的故事,引起人们的伤害 （some of those people -----children)

到底怎么应该理解，这题怎么看，请指点，谢谢

我对这段话的理解是这样的：

对一群年龄不同的孩子读故事（也就是读故事给孩子听），故事里的人物caused harm（也就是干坏事）。一些人是有意一些人是无意。当问这些孩子给这些故事里的人什么样的惩罚时，小孩子，不象大孩子，他们没有根据有意无意来制定惩罚。结论是：小孩子没有把人们的有意行为考虑到相关的惩罚中。
