The percentage of households with an annual income of more than $40,000 is higher in Merton county than in any other county.However, the percentage of households with an annual income of $60,000 or more is highest in Sommer county.

If the statements above are true, which of the following can properly be concluded on the basis of them?

No household in Merton county has an annual income of $60,000 or more.
Some households in Merton county have an annual income between $40,000 and $60,000.

这题答案是B，但是我觉得E也很合理，M城市收入40000以上的人占的百分比最多，而S城市收入60000以上的人占的百分比最多，那么收入80000以上的人的百分比S大于M，不是很合理吗？因为M城市的人大多集中在40000到60000之间。不选B是因为这个不需要推啊……它只是说some并没有涉及M和S的比较嘛……

题干一：Merton城中，>40K的最多。
题干二：Sommer城中，>=60K的最多。
B.Some households in Merton county have an annual income between $40,000 and $60,000.
取非，如果Merton城中没有40K到60K这个区间的，那么就是>60K这一档，即题干一=Merton城中，>60K的最多。与题干二相悖，顾B正确。
E.The percentage of households with an annual income of $80,000 is higher in Sommer than in Merton county.
最大的问题在于80K这个数字毫无根据，按照你的理解，换成70K，90K都可以～

这道题C为什么不对呢？
题干的第一句话就说了Merton county里，收入在$40000以上的人是所有county里最多的；
C说Merton County里收入在$40000以上的人比Sommer County收入在$40000的人多，通过上述题干不正好可以推出C吗？

C选项说的是绝对值，题目中给的是比例（M县收入超过4万的人口）

E因为可能两个county都没有人有8K，所以percentage可能相等都为0

对于E选项：
M: $40，000-60,000：50户（50%）， $60，000-80,000:30户（30%）， $80，000以上：20户（20%）
M: $40，000-60,000：30户（30%）， $60，000-80,000:60户（60%）， $80，000以上：20户（10%）
对于M，总数100户，80，000以上占20%，大于S的10%
也就是S大部分收入集中在中间段，$80，000以上反而没有M多。
所以E是错的
