It really doesn't matter. They care much much much more about what you did at the company and how did you contribute to the company's success. The company can be a very successful one but it won't mean anything if you had no significant impact.

just curious why you made this posting. it's meaningless to discuss the slight difference between pg and jj. both of them are great industrial companies and i guess the only difference between you and the guy in pg is yourself rather than the difference between the two companies - e.g. ps, experience, gmat etc.
it appears that you are not very confident so as to say that jj is not as strong as pg. you have to show in your application that you are one of the most excellent young people in china if you apply for top schools.

First, jj is specialized in pharmaceutical and medical devices,

thus, it is not as famous as pg in terms of marketing.

Second, on this bbs, I have not seen that lots of guys from jj have received

offers from top business school.

may I ask a question that in these kind of big companies,

how many years working experience is enough to apply for mba program?

2--3years or more?

i know a lady with 2-3 years accounting experience in Unilever received offer from several M7 schools. She joined tier 1 strategic consulting firm after graduation. Another lady in P&G (probably more than 3 years experience) went to a top 3 business schools and then join the same consulting firm.

I guess for top business schools, 3 years experience should be enough as many ib, consulting form or industrial companies prefer young people for their entrance global mba program.

which company are you in? SJJP or XJP? let me tell you, there are some colleagues in J&J received TOP B-school offers(HB, Standford......). J&J has a very good reputation in America, In fact, more important things for you is to prepare a good GMAT score, a good essay, try to present a unique and excellent you! For you, working experiences will not be a hurdle for you, yourself is very important!

Try to grasp chances to study in work, if you can explain J&J credo with your unique profundity, and with decent G,T score, you can get TOP school offer.

It is sald that JNJ is the most admired company by MBA students in the U.S.

and many guys here in my marketing team are from top business schools, such as

Stanford, Northwest, Duke.....

but few of my colleges have the plan to study MBA abroad.
