i know a lady with 2-3 years accounting experience in Unilever received offer from several M7 schools. She joined tier 1 strategic consulting firm after graduation. Another lady in P&G (probably more than 3 years experience) went to a top 3 business schools and then join the same consulting firm.

I guess for top business schools, 3 years experience should be enough as many ib, consulting form or industrial companies prefer young people for their entrance global mba program.
