某公司规定，员工的年龄与工龄的和达到70年就可以退休。某人刚上班的时候x岁，退休时候工龄y年。问x与y的关系。这么看起来挺简单，但用英文表述起来罗罗嗦嗦一大套，个别人粗心，一看这太简单了，都给出来了x+y=70，选项里面也有这个。这是傻子题。其实ETS再弱也会拐个弯的。考试的时候一看有这么简单就能解出来的题，第一个反应就应该是"可能我看错了"，需要更认真地读一遍。然后就会发现the age of an employee后面还有两个很短但是非常关键的单词：when hired。然后就会得出结果x+2y=70。

现在我才理解退休年龄+工作年数=70 也就是参加工作时候的年龄+2倍的工龄=70

原来如此年龄是退休年龄，就是说我如果30岁上班，50岁时候工作了20年了，（30+20）+20=50+20=70，其实50岁就可以退休了。
