求解一下

答案是E，C的解释是to enhance和their preparation不平行，这个可以理解，想问的是为什么不能把athletes' performance和their preparation看作平行结构呢

可以enhance performance，但是不可以enhance preparetion。提升准备在意思上根本说不通啊
