weaken:
E: 他因削弱，指出recent changes in the editorial policies （C)才是导致A的原因。
同时也是反对assumption的一种削弱，原作者提出B->A的assumption是没有其它的原因导致A这个结果
A: 反而有一定的support作用，指出pulication德data是准确的，但不是很强。
B: 是一个迷惑项，看起来是削弱，因为科学家的wait time少了，显然publication 应该对才对，但注意者和原来的argument无关，也不能说明B就不能推出A.
C

同理，没有weaken这个argument.

这正说明有其他原因（比如e）造成了文章数量的减少，而不是加速器维修造成的阿！
