B-D here are not big 4 background. Your background won't become diverse just because you work in several industries/companies. Your pool is determined by either your most significant work experience or last work experience for typical career path.

A. 4 years assurance in kpmg. => big 4
B. 2 years consulting in Deloitte, 2.5 years IBD in XX => IBD
C. 2 years assurance in pwc, 3 years PE in xx  => PE
D. 5 years business analysis in e&y  => not sure what ba is at ey but i guess consulting

These 4 candidates are not competing to each other but to other big4, IBD, PE or consulting applicants. That's why top school always have small number of Chinese consultants, ibanker, engineers, F500 and PE people, instead all bankers or all PE.

It is the same case for domestic students but the admitted number of each pool is much larger so error is smaller.  Admit another big 4 candidate when the big4 target is 50 is very different than when the big4 target is 2

bias可能存在，但是我相信这个数据。我们无论如何拿不到招生办关于R1、R2的内部数据，那用外部来参考也不错。其实我个人觉得准备材料并不用很久，所以我今年全部投第一轮。

这不重要
什么可能都有长期上论坛的人的是不是准备更充分更早ready? round 2的人是不是offer拿的晚往往没空参与统计？外国人是不是有和我们不一样的时间观念？ anything is possible
但是R1:35% R2:55% 的申请人比例是很多公开资料可以看到的
也有AO在info session提过
这个无从杜撰

Do you know whether CBS would still admit Chinese applicants in regular rounds? since my gmat will not not ready before the early decsion round.

RD also accepts Chinese applicants. We see real examples in recent years.
