He had done a lot of different jobs before became a writer. He grew up in the city in which Tom Soyer lived. painter typesrtter newspaper riverboat pilot humorosly journalism
His first book published in 1865
He got a great deal of money ,but because of the venture of financial , He was bankrupcy. By the help of Henry, He had no responsibility to pay the money, but he still paid it.
He was born when Hally's comet visited and died when Hally's comet returned. He was lauded by many other famous writers.
