Guys,

1. Evidence that it is likely that consumers will hear about new product announcements once they are made [choice B does exactly that]

选项b如何make sense?media outlets report on the planned introduction of new devices,注意这里的主语是media outlets而不是company announce,所以这个选项并没有weaken文章中的结论。Media outlets report on the planned new introduction of new device -> customers hear the new device will be launched -> sales of the current devise will be declined -> ok, its time for the company to announce the upcoming of new device.

premise:Once consumers hear about the new device, they may stop buying the one currently on sale
conclusion: announcing new technology too soon after the introduction of a successful device can backfire

once they hear about that , they may stop; ( then, they know exactly that there will be new products from the Media outlets' report) So, they will not buy the old ones
