虽然之前看了很多模板,但这篇还是处女作,nn不要笑我。准备虚心听取大家意见。bowing “In today’s rapidly and unpredictably changing world, attempting to learn from the past is no longer the wisest strategy.” Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the opinion stated above. Support your position with reasons and/or examples from your experience, observations, or reading. The speaker asserts that attempting to learn from the past is no longer the wisest strategy in today's world that is changing rapidly and unpredictably. While today's world is not as constant as it used be, in my view, to learn from the history is still the best way to study today's society. In the first place, the speaker's assert that study history is no longer the wisest strategy is based upon an assumption that as the world change rapidly and unpredictably, the human being, who consist of the world, also change the nature of their reaction. This assumption ignores our every day common sense. Although the improvement in both asset and spirit is tremendous, the human nature is unchanged. Maybe the most obvious evidence is that people still believe that obscenity is harmful to a society and should be prevented in broadcast media, just as what people believed one hundred years ago. In the second place, the history is the only reliable resource to us to research human action. The reason why the speaker's assert that attempting to learn from the past is no longer the wisest strategy is unacceptable is that without researching past, any predict of future is ungrounded. Only history can provide a convinced and scientific direction that figure out what people will react when face future affairs. Admittedly, some people may point out that lots of factors influence people's reaction and viewpoint and some of them do not exist today. Even so, the fundamental of human intrinsic, which mainly decided people reaction, will never change, and the history is still available in today's world. In sum, the speaker's assert that in today's rapidly and unpredictably changing world, attempting to learn from the past is no longer the wisest strategy ignores both the fact that human nature is unchangeable and the reality that the history is the only reliable resource to predict future. History study is still available, even in light of today's changing world.
