SIM basically is pre-experience master in management.
international exposure, soft skill like communication and presenttion, and also business sense are the core of it.

If you are really good in that, and confident enough to land a job on this side without a visa of certain country, SIM is one of the best in European point of view which opens you tons of doors in Europe, especially in German-speaking area (if you speak German).

如果對單靠soft skill的信心不夠, 但又想走international management 之類的路, 建議拖長時間申一個硬一點的master, 學德語+CEMS (of course have risk).

P.S. if you plan to work in Signapore, why don't go for a school in SG directly?

也談談HSG在asia的佈局, HSG asia term和在SG有career hub之類:
其實個人看法是, this is new stuff, 不要寄望太多. 找工作最後都是靠自己的. SG的visa算相對易搞的.
why HSG get something in SG (but not HK/shanghai / BJ / elsewhere), 估計是因為this program is somehow for european.
都能capture 東南亞和中國的econ growth, 但是基本上不會中文在中國= 搞不定, 在香港也頭痛, only choice is singapore.
(and thus this is not really intended for Chinese indeed........)

不知道楼主还在不在CD，有两个问题想问下：
1. 看到大家都在讨论MBF，想问下st.gallen的Master's degree in Quantitative Economics and Finance (MiQE/F) 怎么样？因为想读量化方面的硕士（虽然本科是金融，数学课程不太够.... 算是执念吧）
2. MBF和MiQE/F好像都有对本科学分180个的要求，但我们专业毕业学分只有120左右，不知道楼主知不知道这种情况能不能申请？

“You are eligible for admission to the Master's degree in Quantitative Economics and Finance (MiQE/F) if you hold a recognised university Bachelor's degree in Economics or in a similar subject with a minimum of 180 ECTS.

A degree from another university is considered similar if a minimum of 60 ECTS has been earned in Economics. You may also be eligible for application if you hold a consecutive university Master's degree in another field with subjects covering economic theory. The MiQE/F admission committee will assess each application.”
官网上对于MQF说明是这样的不知道是不是我理解有问题

b. If we can talking about quantitative finance, HSG is not the best place for it in Switzerland (one will be more interested in ETH/EPFL first...), but given you have a finance (only) background, i.e. lack of enough mathematics, MiQEF type of a bit quantitative program should fit you background and goal quite well, better than MBF in this ascept.
2/
Please check what is ECTS (and thus credit conversion) first......

啊，非常感谢回复！！！
1. 嗯嗯，我很想去ETH/EPFL，对quant很执念，虽然数学课不足，而且（intermediate micro/macro都没有 = =）
2. 我在德国交换的时候拿的就是ECTS学分（欧洲统一学分），然后我回母校转学分的时候是按1:1转的（55555），哎、我们专业就是学分特别少，不知道还能不能向对方学校争取一下。

哎，是不是自己定位有问题啊，我也觉得自己的背景申quant不太够，但真的很想读。

1. well........do you think you have "A degree from another university is considered similar if a minimum of 60 ECTS has been earned in Economics."? If yes, just appy first.......If no, then apply for the MBF and take all those quantitative course (most (but except the most difficult one when compared with MiQEF) are available also to MBF student as the program is quite flexible)
2. in general 60 ECTS = 1 year of coursework.
