Film Director:It is true that certain characters and plot twists in my newly released film The Big Heist are strikingly similar to characters and plot twists in Thieves, a movie that came out last year.Based on these similarities, the film studio that produced Thieves is now accusing me of taking ideas from that film.The accusation is clearly without merit.All production work on The Big Heist was actually completed months before Thieves was released.

答案选C，可是我很迷惑E选项，为啥不对呢？文中说了，B制作结束的时候T还没发行，E选项再说B的制作时间比T短，这不正好说明了B开始的时间比T早么。。。不加强了么= =

另外，还想问问各位亲，有没有比较详细的prep逻辑部分的解释。感激不尽啊~~

Focus on the conclusion which is "The accusation is clearly without merit." The time length spent on the production of a movie has no bearing on the content of the movie.

文中说了，B制作结束的时候T还没发行，E选项再说B的制作时间比T短，这不正好说明了B开始的时间比T早么

有可能T比B先开始或同时开始但是B的制作时间比T短所以B制作结束的时候T还没有发行

(B) The characters and plot twists that are most similar in the two films have close parallels in many earlier films of the same genre.该选项的意思是B和T重叠的部分在很多同类早期电影中都有出现，直接佐证了B没有抄袭T。
(C) The film studio that produced Thieves seldom produces films in this genre.其实是无关选项，因为T有produce such a film在文章中是premise，不可以被攻击
(D) The director of Thieves worked with the director of The Big Heist on several earlier projects过度脑补，从B和T的导演曾经共事这一事实要推断出两个电影之间没有抄袭关系需要多余一个推断环节，尽量避免这种选项
(E) The time it took to produce The Big Heist was considerably shorter than the time it took to produce Thieves.无关选项，用时长短跟是否抄袭并无直接关系
