一道prep语法 In Scotland, the number of wild salmon have been reduced because of uncontrolled deep-sea and coastal netting, by pollution, and by various other threats to the fish’s habitat. A number of wild salmon have been reduced because of uncontrolled deep-sea and coastal netting, B number of wild salmon is reduced because deep-sea and coastal netting is not controlled, C numbers of wild salmon has been reduced because of uncontrolled deep-sea and coastal netting, D wild salmon’s numbers are reduced by deep-sea and coastal netting that is not controlled, E wild salmon’s numbers have been reduced by uncontrolled deep-sea and coastal netting, 解析是这样说的by pollution的承受者应该是wild salmon，所以the number of wild salmon错误。但是A B 两项的the number of 和D E 两项的所有格形式的表达意思是一样的，D E 两项并没有因为用所有格形式而使逻辑主语变成wild salmon呢，其中心语还是number？这是怎么回事？求解释。。。谢谢
A. "the number of" is singular, therefore you need to use "has been" instead of "have been" B. "because..." phrase is not parallel to ", and by various other threats..." Also "deep-sea and coastal" is a compound term and needs to use "are" instead of "is" C. "the numbers of" is usually wrong, and it needs to use "have been" D. "are reduced" does not reflect continued action, perfect tense needs to be used here. Also "deep-sea and coastal netting" needs "are" instead of "is"
