A的话，but前面加逗号，语意上面会产生歧义，应该不用逗号和but,直接用only if好
were to 这个多余了，前面用的是will，这里时态也有错，而且也没有表示虚拟的语气

会有什么歧义呢？ were to 是虚拟，是因为要是虚拟的话前面应该是would 而不是will吗？为什么不可以有虚拟呢？

我觉得加了逗号和but后，把这两个分句的关系给分割了，好像是单独的一句
是的，虚拟的话不能用will。而且be to 这个结构我觉得也感觉没有直接用动词好啊
