C选项，读起来语感不对，但是分析起来我又不知道它到底哪里不对，请NN指点：
A proposed new style of aircraft could fly between most points on Earth in under two hours, according to its proponents, with it skimming along the top of the atmosphere.

according to its proponents有两个逗号隔开作为插入语，如果我们把插入语去掉，句子就变成了：
A proposed new style of aircraft could fly between most points on Earth in under two hours with it skimming along the top of the atmosphere.

it指代前面的 style of aircraft ，这样的独立主格结构有什么错误呢？

难得看到GWD的SC题争议了若干年也没总结出很有说服力的答案。看来此题确实有难度啊。

我觉得不是吧。。。B说proponents of a proposed new style of aircraft say it could fly......，后面有＂it could fly＂，而proponents是复数，所以it只能是aircraft，aircraft could fly, 我觉得没什么错呀。。。。
