This crisis is a structural shift which creates opportunity
Despite compensation cut, a still rewarding career
Chance to networking, so important in today's world
Enjoy working in downtown financial centers (i.e. Hong Kong Central, NYC Wall Street etc)
Really want to "upgrade" my personal and financial status
A place to fulfill my childhood dream
A place that I can leverage to go to PE, HF or VC
Meeting buddies in my age group is precious (this option only applies to junior position)
Just follow whatever smart kids in college/grad schools are doing
