为何这么肯定？你有查过语法书吗？要说服我，可要有实实在在的证据哦，而我提到的那个besides的例句可是在美语书写中会看到的哦，应该没有错的。

所以还请举出更充分的例子哦，我等着，也希望，被你说服。。。。

这么老的帖子又翻出来啦。

我的M－W上面besides = as well  不是as well as 呀。 再说as well as 也是介词词组的说。  后面应该加名词或动词的ing形式。

哎，为何不能仔细读一下我的帖子或者多翻一些美语语法书？（南瓜mm认为我的例句里的fight是名词，那么是做什么成份呢？难道是do的宾语？）

既然南瓜mm不相信我的例句，那偶再举j几个（如果南瓜mm能自己找就好了。。。。。）：

1。But a lack of things to do besides fight other players will make many people pass on this experience.

2。Your friendly regiments do nothing without your express order besides fight for their lives if attacked and turn tail and flee if overwhelmed。

其实besides + do的形式已经成为美语的一种新趋势了。。。。。偶也只是随便翻了翻一些地说。

是，我写错了，应该是as well........我当时只是想解释为何besides没错，可惜解释得不好，我也想不通。

但是，besides + do的用法确实很多，这点你留心一下就知道了。。。。

其实咱只是想看看老美平时的写作是否也遵循ETS套路。。。。。。

倒， 强烈不建议大家google 这样用。

1. 老美也翻语法错误。

2. 鬼知道是不是老美写的， 什么新加坡英语，马来英语， 中国英语都在上面。

3. 字典里面的最地道，至少他们不敢不负责的乱写。

Agree with bryony, searching the Internet probably is not a good tool when studying for GMAT & TOEFL.  As you know, lots of Americans are also careless when writting, and ordinary Americans probably won't score too high on G or T grammar :-)

Besides can not be used as conj. in written English.  It should be replaced by "and" in the sentence.
