我选C,削弱原文中language的原因，出了language还有econmic和political的原因
为什么C不对呢？？

Although C added Economic and political issues, it still supports the passage(conflict within a country caused by language issue). E is better.

Know the conclusion of the argument: No nation can long survive unless its people are united by a common tongue.

Logic chain: If nation survives, then its people speak the same language.

So people speaking the same language is a necessary conditions for its nation to survive.

Then if people speak different language, the nation cannot survive.

E simply points out the above is not true in one country. Thus, E weakens the argument.

Premise: If the conclusion is true, it must be true that Canada is the proof only need to be considered ---> separated between Quebec and other province speaking English.

很簡單馬, 必要條件為兩個帝國主義國家控制的加拿大省份不講同一個語言, 可是不講同一個語言不代表彼此不會學習對方的語言啊。有誰限定common tongue 不能夠後天學習？意思就是一個國家可以講一萬種語言, 可是有一個官方語言大家都會啊。
