Hi there,

I hope you do not mind me using English since my Chinese software is broken. If you are not US green card holder or US citizen, I highly recommend you not to go down this path. Just google Accounting Doctoral Scholar Program and have a look at the participating schools(most good schools are on the list). Only US green card holder or US citizen are eligible to apply and this gives you a huge disadvantage simply because those ADS people, as we call them, have funding from ADS. US schools will of course prefer to admit those people because they are free to support. I hope this helps.

My other suggestion is that DO NOT apply for PhD program just because it is difficult to find job. It is a serious lifetime commitment and you can only be truly motivated if you are truly interested in research.

accounting Phd 就业很不好?我们学校的华人教授说,会计教授目前还供不应求,最差的情况回到中国国内也是很受欢迎的.

他说的是ads现在给美国人或者永居奖学金来读act的博士，这样学校就不用给这些人奖学金，所以他们申请公立学校比你有优势的多得多，而申请私利学校难度又很大，你的明白？

If I were you, I would rather apply phd program directly since your undergraduate study is in the states and you are majoring in accounting. Getting a master degree won't benefit you a lot in applying phd program. So either working for 1 or 2 years or applying phd program directly. Focus on top 50 schools, although I think you have a big chance to be admitted in top 30 schools. Try to apply more, I mean more than 15, to avoid no offer due to bad luck.

try to get more than 730, that would be enough for most schools.

placement is fine, but huge variance.

in terms of green card, 外f is a much easier way.

套磁 is not necessary.
