A rectangular tabletop consists of a piece of laminated wood bordered by a thin metal strip along its four edges.The surface area of the tabletop is x square feet,and the total length of the strip before it was attached was x feet.If the tabletop is 3 feet wide,what is its approximate length in feet?

(X-6)/2这个是他的length吧再*3就是他的面积咯=x
3(X-6)/2=X

算出来A

设length为B 则 3B=2*3+2B
解 B=6
