It is pretty hard even for Americans to launch a good job now days in big four. No to mention international students. I do not know where you get the conclusion.
I totally agreed with persons above. In San Francisco, before they know you are international students, they may arrange you an interview. However, after you filled the online application, they will know you need sponsorship and then there will be no interview.
I have to tell you that it's not really easy for a Master of Accounting student without any work experience to get a good job in the US. It really depend on what your expectation and goal is. If you just want to stay and get a green card, it's probably easy, but you might end up doing AP/AR or payroll and stuck in a small company or even Chinese company for couple of yearas. It will be a total waste of the best time in your life. If your expectation is big four and corp finance in big companies, it's tough. you gotta be mentally prepared.
I totally agree. I am doing master now. I will take the CPA exam next May. It's hard to find a job now because American economy is not so good.
I agree that its not easy to get CPA done before master. Normally CPA tests require 150+ college credits with at least 30 accounting credits. It would be better to take the test after master program.
