1. Far from doing…, XX…这个应该是考逻辑主语，选项中以人名开头的有两个，不确定答案

XX contributed to advancing the development of the radiology field.

  XX made contributions to the field of radiology helping it to develop.

(Notes:
        我觉得contribute to doing sth 好像不对吧。我本人认为contribute to 后应该跟名词(不能动名词), such as: He contributed to many magazines.  另外，第二句话虽然contribution 的用法好像正确，但如果it指代field of radiology好像在意思上有点说不过去。欢迎大家讨论)

LZ如果没记错的话第二个应该不对吧?既然已经contribute自然帮助它发展，所以后面画蛇添足。而且按照语法help sb. do sth.应该是helping it develop吧？
