A good opportunity to get into consulting. You can move to other departments later,right? I am just guessing...Good luck!

Btw, are you in US? Is this position in US?

Accenture is strong at IT consulting. Actually they did not pay  well (I was in there for 1 yr) and it is kind of tough "up or out" policy for consultants, you will have 2 year for you. So if you could survive, you bet. The good thing is Accenture has a well known name and have many handsome guys and beautiful womans, lol. ;) My formal boss is a very beautiful, funny and sexy lady, I really enjoyed the time having dinner with her.  She is married, so sad.

I am also interested in consulting. I've been working in IT in a joint venture for about 4 years since I graduated from the university. I am familiar with company's information system and IT infrastructure. Will Accenture be my good choice? As you say they did not pay well, I want to know more about how do they pay.

I said they did not pay well cause I got other offers later that I got paid more with much less efforts. ;) Sure Accenture is a very good name in IT consulting that will help you in your future career. Especially when you are young and have no kids, they may send you world wide... hoho..
