所求的组合有两种：一种是3本同样颜色和同样尺寸的，另一种是3本同样的尺寸和不同的颜色的。

现在分别求：

对于第一种，共有两种尺寸和四种颜色的搭配，故共有2*4=8种；

对于第二种，对于某种特定的尺寸，3种不同的颜色的搭配有C43=4种；两种尺寸，故总共有2*4=8种；

因此总共为8+8=16种。
