"How will this alternate interest contribute to your effectiveness in solving multidisciplinary problems ?" makes me confused. the question is focus on"Why" or "How"?
In my understanding, the MAP (Multidisciplinary Action Projects) is the core of Ross MBA. For this essay question, the key is "multidisciplinary problem". The admission officers want to see how you solve this problem, no matter what career goals you pursue.
