Watching movies has been one of the most critical(critical这样的词很严肃,用来形容relaxation肯定不合适的) relaxations in people’s life for ages. Since the competition in current society has becoming more and more severe(形容competition,我建议使用fierce), amusing movies are more widely to be accepted by people. (Movies, it seems that, invariably exerts effects on our everyday lives ubiquitously in many ways. In the light of such a current fact, gradually, movies-virtually the most welcome and widely spread form of entertainment-becomes something indispensable for a multitude of us. Just as mentioned, it is a form of entertainment whose main purpose is entertaining people instead of making them pondering, from my perspective.) To(我个人觉得是from my perspective) my perspective, the main purpose to watch movies is(注意对应,这里应该是are) mostly to entertain oneself and throw away(help one get rid of those) the worries, stress in life temporarily. To give a demonstration(Let us say), when talking about cartoon characters, say, Tom and Jerry, Micky Mouse(举例还是最好要高级点的,不要太儿童化), not only children but adults are familiar with them. (Then,) what makes them so impressive? I think(I think这样的词汇还是最好不要用,可以用deem as/regard as来替代) the reason is that they bring people much fun and enjoyment in life. Most people tend to watch a good comedy or entertaining film twice rather than a new serious one after work. (For one thing, I would like to firstly give the fact that currently many of us live in those conditions which are saturated with intense stress and anxiety triggered by the fierce competition in modern society. To them, amusing movies which require no exhausting contemplation and can offer many funny stories are what they really need, for via watching those amusing movies, these people can at least get moments of being thoroughly relaxed and running away from the suffering existence. |
