OG上的一道DS题求解？

If a is a 3-digit integer and b is a 3-digit integer, is the
units digit of the product of a and b greater than 5 ?
(1) The units digit of a is 4.
(2) The units digit of b is 7.

官方的解释说要满足两个，因为这样ab才会大于5.
难道 a and b的理解不应该是 a+b吗？为什么是算的 ab呢？

product of A and B ---> A times B
sum of A and B ---> A+B
