163 Is the ability to read and write more important today than in the past? Why or why not? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Upon to the question, is the ability to read and write more important than in the past, many people have different opinion about this statement?  In my opinion, I prefect to say yes, the ability to read and write more important than in the past.  There are two reasons supporting my view.

The first reason why I agree is that in this various world, everything is changed and created all the time.  Of course, many knowledge and information are appeared frequently.  So in this time, reading a lot of information and then understanding is very important.  In the past, if someone who graduated from college means he or she has a lot of knowledge than other people.  But now because skill and time developed, there are many students who graduated form college and it does not means someone has plenty knowledge in their brains ever.  So we need read more information in all kingdoms and need higher education such as master or dr. to life in this city and have ability to analyst the things which is correct or not.  So the reading is a very important factor for us in this city.

Regarding writing, if some one don’t have good writing ability in this social, it is hard to success.  I can quote a common example.  In the company, writing ability is an important thing, because we sometimes need to pretend our projects or idea in the meeting.  If we don’t have good writing ability, we will not have good pretension in this meeting.  Even though we have other superior abilities such as communication or good idea, we had hard chance to take a manager place or good payment.  So the reading is more important than past.

In conclusion, in this more developed time, reading and writing ability are more important than past.  It is not only for increasing our knowledge but also for increasing our ability.  Understanding my reasoning above, it is quite clear to say that ability to read and write more important than in the past.

问题挺多，你要全部重新写写，看看别人写的好的文章，多阅读一些材料。另外，语法和句法错误多，结构也非常简单，不利于拿好成绩。

Upon to the question, (whether)is the ability of to reading and writing is more important (today这个一定要) than in the past. Many people have different opinions about this argument. In my opinion, I prefect to the positive answer that the ability to read and write is more important today than in the past.  There are two reasons are given as follows.

The first reason why I agree is that you should get more information nowadays than ever before with the development of human society. In the fast-paced society, reading a lot of information and then understanding is very important.  In the past, if someone who graduated from college, he will be treated as a person who has mastered much more knowledge than other people, but now with the technology developing, more and more new things appears, so they have to get more from books by reading, Even if he or she is a PH.D, he also need to update his knowledge day by day by reading or writing.

Regarding writing, if some one don’t have good writing ability in this social, he or she is hard to get success.  For example, in the company, we cannot show others our projects or ideas in the meeting, if we do not have the writing ability to write them down and enunciate them clearly.

In conclusion, in this high developed society, reading and writing ability are more important today than in the past.  It is not only for increasing our knowledge but also for increasing our ability.  From my reasons above, it is quite clear to draw a conclusion that ability to read and write is more important today than in the past.
