再次向各位高手们请教两个GWD题

这道题答案选的是A，是不是答案错了啊？不是应该是metabolism 与 warm blooded manmmal's ( metabolism)对应的么？

2. Each year red-winged blackbirds stop in a certain region of Midland Province on their spring and fall migration. In the fall, they eat a significant portion of the province's sunflower crop. This year Midland farmers sought permits to set out small amounts of poisoned rice during the blackbirds' spring stop in order to reduce the fall blackbird population. Some residents voiced concern that the rice could threaten certain species of rare migratory birds. Nevertheless, the wildlife agency approved the permits.

答案选的是：In the region where the red-winged blackbirds stop, they are the first birds to be present in the spring.
为什么是这个答案啊？说不通啊。。。

第1题不知道你选什么。文意就是：冷血动物的新陈代谢与温血动物的新陈代谢相比，恐龙的新陈代谢与温血动物的新陈代谢更相似。文章就是要比metabolism。对应的话也是 metabolism 对应，然后所有格修饰成分对应。

第二题是加强题吗？红翅黑鹂的过程是：春天---迁徙--停一次（吃something)---秋天---迁徙----停一次（吃sunflower crop）  
农民春天放点毒米，这鸟吃了以后总数就少了，秋天的时候，鸟少了,sunflower crop损失也就小了。答案说这鸟是第一批出现的，也就是说它们最先吃到毒米，把米都吃了，后面迁徙的珍贵的鸟就吃不到毒米了，这个手段也就对珍贵鸟类没有什么危害了。

谢谢回复哦！！第一题我选的是B，B不就是对应metabolism么？但是答案给的是A这个选项，是不是答案错了啊？
