Where is an ideal place for people to live and take care of their families? What would you choose between the big cities with outstanding public facilities, numerous gourmet food and shopping centers, and the quiet village with beautiful environment and fresh clean air? For me, I will choose the big cities, because prosperous urban areas will benefit both children and adults.

To begin with, living in the rural areasurban areas is great for children. Since big cities have more wonderful schools compared with rural areas, children will have more opportunities to accept high-quality education, which will be a precious treasure for children in their whole lives. In addition, almost all kinds of fruits and vegetables are available in big cities, children live there can have a nutrient balanced diet, helping them to grow healthy. Also, there are lots of activities in big cities, such as opera, art exhibition, and concert, which can assist to shape the children’s personalities, cultivate their interests and hobbies, and make more friends.

Second, it is a better choice for adults (parents) to live in the urban areas. Compared with rural areas where the occupations are limited, urban areas possess far more companies and correspondingly more jobs, so people have more opportunities to find satisfactory jobs, get promotions and earn more money. Since economic condition is the basic element of taking care of families, earning more money is essential. Plus, the big cities can offer people better living quality. Imagine the countless tasty food, delicate clothes, high-tech products, and exciting parties, you can get every material thing you want from big cities. Additionally, the access to the excellent hospitals is another important concern for people to take care of their families, where only the big cities can provide.

However, for elder people, living in the rural area seems to be a better choice. In the village, the environment is exquisite, the air is clean, and the life pace is slow. All the elder people need is to enjoy the live.少了点

In conclusion, the overall advantages of living in the city outweigh its disadvantages. Living in cities benefits both children and parents, and they have more chances to live a high-quality life. Thus, urban area is an ideal place for people to live and take care of their families.
