1. 副词不修饰名词；

2.
a. every and each
1)两个都是形容词，都有“每个”的意义（虽然如此，实际上并不容易弄混）。
2)every 强调全部、都，而each强调单个，个别的
I give each tiger in the cage a piece of meat every day.
我每天(都)给笼里的每只老虎一块肉。
The wether here is cloudy every day.
这里的天气每天(都)乌云密布的。

b. no / not
这两个比较常考，务必弄清楚
1)no 虽然有名词、形容词和副词词性，但一般只考他的形容词词性；
2)not 副词。
no = not any
例句：
"Is it raining?" "No, it's snowing." --- no 副词
There are no flowers in the garden. --- no 形容词
It's not that bad.
It's not good. (good在此为形容词)
It's no good. （good在此为名词）
