fellow chinese colleagues from my company's site in shanghai all got english names, but those located in the states including myself all stay with original chinese names. an american friend of mine even call my name in the exact chinese way, i.e., family name then given name. i'm just wondering how hard it would be like if someone doesn't have an english name in a US company's chinese branch.
