Several methods of getting rid of the cane toads are proposed in the reading passage. However, none among these measures are regarded successful and environmental-friendly, say the professor.

In the first place, a way of stopping the spread of cane toads, demonstrated in the passage, is to construct a national fence to block the cane toads from moving. Unfortunately, this viewpoint is refuted by the speaker, because a number of young cane toads and even their eggs are small enough to get through the fence easily. As the streams carry those small individuals reach other side of the fence, the national fence is of no efficiency in blocking the cane toads.

Secondly, as for the saying of capturing and destroying the cane toads by volunteers, the professor also holds a totally opposite idea. Untrained volunteers, as is claimed by the professor, will not easily distinguish the cane toad and the native frog because they are so similar at their young. Contrary to what is suggested in the reading, the method of gathering volunteers to catch and destroy those cane toads will not be a successful one for a possibility of  damaging the native frogs.    

Finally, the writer is compliment of the new research on a newly designed disease-causing virus which, as he thought, is likely to control the population of cane toads. Conversely, the lecturer points out the harmfulness and dangerous of this approach. This kind of virus is probably detrimental to the origin reptiles habitat and leads a negative effect on reptiles in South America, according to the lecturer. The cane toads are major species in Soth America, the lecturer added, if they are suffered by the virus, the whole eco-system will suffer a tremendous disaster as a result.

To begin with, it is complimented by the author that reestablishing Torreya in the same location is a favorable way to protect Torreya species, while the lecturer refutes his standpoint. This is because the rebuild microclimate is strongly to be affected by change of temperature. Namely, with the rapid increasing temperature and drier of wetlands, Torreya is not likely to survive in this environment.

Besides, a method proposed in the passage that moving Torreya to another location is also disputes by the professor. An apparent case easily demonstrates the negative consequence, as is mentioned in the speech, another tree species was once removed to a northern area and cause detrimental effects to other local tree species and in the end harmed the eco-system. Such case indicates that the removing option is unsuccessful.

In the end, when it comes to the idea of planting Torreya in a research center, the speaker definitely says no. According to the listening material, Torreya is not likely to resist the disease in a research center, in this case the protection is actually becoming the destruction. Meanwhile, conducting research on Torreya will probably largely changed this species and lead to a genetic diverse. Plus, experts currently have no capability to preserve the Torreya in research centers, added by the professor.

许久不写作文了，抓耳挠腮有木有，重度拖延有木有，继续求拍砖！
题目：Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Students should be more focused on the development of graduates than on the fame of professors when choosing university.

Criteria vary among different people when choosing universities. Some people concentrate more on the reputation of a professor, I, however, firmly believe students as well as their parents should focus more on the development of graduates when making decisions on which university to attend.

To begin with, with the expand recruiting policy put forward by several universities, a student is less likely to acquire equal attention from the famous professor because of the skyrocketing number of students attending universities. Even if a student is chosen as a lucky dog by the professor because of his/her talent or potential, it is definitely wrong for him/her to dream of obtaining a promising future benefited from the professor. On the contrary, he or she has to work more deligently(diligently) to satisfy the professor's needs like collecting data or analyzing reports instead of developing in other subject areas which are meanwhile crucial to his/ her future career. Thus, that leads to a worse dilemma when the student graduated from university, he might be not wholesome developed to meet the employer's requirements. Apparently, the outcome disappointed what he expected.

In addition, one situation which should be taken  into account is that professors with high reputation are often required to make public speeches nationwide or attend some meetings to perform a couple of new researches. Once, for example, I watched a TV programme which demostrated the classic Chinese literature-the Confucious(Confucius), speeched by a famous professor, Yu Dan, from Beijing Teacher's University. I was fanscinated(fascinated) about Professor Yu's lecture and dreamed of taking part in her lecture face-to-face. But one of my best friend who majored in Chinese literature in that university told me that Professor Yu was so busy that she could manage only few classes in a limited time. Plus, an undeniable phenomenon arisen among universities is that a massive number of professors tend to spare more time on doing academic research rather than educating students. Hence, scarcely will a student acquire direct instruction by a well-known professor.

Admittedly, following the instructions of a famous professor is of great significance in doing researches as well as working on projects because his/her authority and fame can prosper the student in a further development in a specific field, it still could not be overstressed as a key factor measuring universities by students as well as parents. In fact, an increasing attention paid to the development of graduates, which is more persuasive to indicate a student's future development, is deserved.

In sum, I vote for students focusing more on the development of graduates than seeking for the fame of professors when making their decisions. I bet students will benefit a lot from this wise decision and win a brilliant future.
