TPO2 综合写作~
Teamwork is highly spoken in the reading for many advantages, however, there is an opposite voice in the listening material. As the speaker says, a company found that teamwork planning for a project is not as good as the reading expected. And reasons are threefold.

To begin with, the reading regards teamwork as a rewarding task for individuals, but the professor says no. According to the professor, a few group members take the free ride in their teamwork.  The professor holds a conflicting idea that team members did not work as a team for some people did the whole work. Though the whole work was done, the honor was attributed to all group members. Hence, people who contributed much to the project felt bad because their names weren't recorded.

Another issue raised by the speaker is that a group work may takes long time on holding meetings discussing how their project would move. That idea also differs from the author's. What's more, the speaker suggests one or two people in the team would be more influential than others, and thus not all members in the team have their assignment to do the project. In this way, their ideas would be quickly dropped rather than being further discussed.

Furthermore, while the reading maintains group work brings people a broad knowledge scope and skills, the professor points out that through teamwork, people's creativity decreased because people could not reach a conclusion but tended to work in different directions. Instead of being "shine", some group members were often ignored by others. What was worse, when the failure comes in the end, all members were to blame.

Which do you prefer, finishing one project before starting another or doing two or more projects at the same time?

In the past, I used to change my ideas when doing some projects, however, mistakes and carelessness were always unevitable(inevitable) when my mind shifting from one task to another. Hence, in order to avoid this kind of mistakes, I developed a habit of putting the tasks in an order according to the extent of urgency when I am occupied with a couple of assignment, and I did benefit from that a lot.

First, I would like to say that finishing one project before starting another makes me more concentrated on the task at hand. Always having troubles with too much work, I was appealed by a software recomanded(recommended) by my best friend, called the "omoTime", which is helpful to manage personal affairs easily and effectively. The "omoTime" actually instructs me to write down my "To-do list" and put them in a right order, and then set a short period of time, for example twenty-five minutes. A next step is to focus on only the first task in the preset time without any interuption(interruption), and after that I can have a short-time break. Thanks to the useful software, I managed to be more concentrated during the procedure of process. Meaningly, once I am fully absorbed in researching on only one aspect, no other terms or phrases would disturb my mind. Surprisingly, I never mess some terms up anymore.

Additionally, when putting all of what I need to do onto a list, I am able to make a proper schedule. In my previous study, I was accustomed to making a schedule. As a result, a great amount of important work were always remained till the day before the deadline. It was not until one day I saw a book named "Rescue Your Time" did I realize that I was wasting a great deal of time in my life if I still performed that habit. So I learned from that book step by step and developed a new habit of making a schedule and planning things one after one. The power of making tasks finished in order was proved in my later experience, and by finishing my work one by one, I can adjust my timetable readily and avoid working till late at night when the deadline was drawing. What's more, after finishing one task, I got satisfactory from my hardwork and it motivated me to finish the next task. In this way, I balanced my leisure time and working time and formed a healthy bioclock.

In sum, I really appreciate the method of finishing tasks one after one and succeeded in arranging my time properly and effectively. That's why I prefer finishing one piece of work before setting out another to doing many tasks at the same time.

Teamwork is highly spoken in the reading for many advantages; however, there is an opposite voice in the listening material. (话说这篇没怎么听懂……)

Opinions vary by reading and listening on whether dinosaurs are endotherms. The listening mentions three evidence to prove that dinosaurs are endotherms rather than reptiles, while the listening regards those hypothesis unproved.

In the first place, the discovery of polar dinosaurs is pointed by the author to show that dinosaurs can maintain their body temperature, which feature is the same with endotherms. In contrast, the speaker holds a conflicting point that regions dinosaurs used to live in were much higher than today. Since endotherms lived in a cold habitat, dinosaurs must have moved to a warmer region. So the discovery of polar dinosaurs is convincing.

Subsequently, the writer suggests that the position and movement of dinosaur legs is another supporting evidence. However, the lecturer opposes to this idea because she mentions the position is called for high energy. In other words, such large sized animals, like dinosaurs, have to consume more weight when running. No doubt their legs are under their bodies. In this case, the connection of legs position is not a necessary detail.

As for the Haversian canals, in the end, are refuted by the professor. She admits the existence of canals, but she also mentions growth rings in dinosaurs, which stops the rapid growth when dinosaurs are in cooler areas. Opposite to what is cast in the reading, rapid body growth cannot be a convincing hypothesis. Therefore, the listening material disagrees with the idea that dinosaurs are endotherms.

Three possible hypothesis are mentioned in the reading determining what the Chaco Great House is used for, but none of these three evidences is regarded convincing according to the listening material.

First, the theory made in the passage shows the Chaco Great House is residential after anlysing(analyzing) its structure. However, a conflicting idea in the speech indicates that though it may look like a ladder apparently, but when examined inside the house, the previous evidence is cut down. It is evidently that few fireplaces are remained inside the house, even a big house has no more than ten fireplaces, showing the impossibility of the residential use. Plus, few rooms in the Great house proves the theory unconvincing, too.

Subsequently, the author raises a point that the house is used for storing food, like maize. In contrast, the speaker points out that no maize or grain is remained in the house. Meanwhile, he mentions that no big containers used for covering the crops are found in the house, refuting the author's viewpoint. In this case, the speaker asserts that the house could not be a storage place.

In the third place, another theory in the reading contends that the houses are ceremonial constructions. This standpoint is also opposed by the professor. The Pueblo Alto has many other materials as well, say by the lecturer. Sand, stones, and other building material are found around the site. Hence, if the houses were used for holding ceremonies, such trash, which is thought as the remainants(remains) by the constructors, cannot be piled next to the house. So conclusions is reached that the Chaco Canyon Great House are not ceremonial centers.

(今天状态比较低迷,写得也比较迷迷糊糊,敬请GRE童鞋狠批!)
In the passage, communal online encyclopedias are considered less valuable that traditional printed ones, supported by three serious problems. However, the lecturer refutes the viewpoint mentioned in reading because it had a prejudice towards the online encyclopedias and ignored the significance.

First of all, the reading holds the idea that some contributors to the online encyclopedias are not specialized and authority enough, leading to an inaccuracy of the communal online encyclopedias. In contrast, the professor says that those errors are impossible to appear in any case. According to the professor, the communal online encyclopedias have never been close to the original books, and if we look at a compete reference encyclopedia, errors will be corrected immediately. But in the printed encyclopedias, corrections is usually made by decades.

In the second place, it is stated in the reading that communal online encyclopedias are easily deleted or modified by hackers, in which case the encyclopedias will be different from the previous versions. While the lecturer holds a conflicting standpoint that sometimes it is a strategy to make a special format in case of being disputed by hackers. Hence we may reach an agreement on the reliability of the communal online encyclopedias.

Ultimately, another point suggested by the author is about the confusion of  importance on topics in communal online encyclopedias. On the opposite, the speaker also refutes that view. He mentions, the communal online encyclopedias represent large amount of accurate topics for people to decide the importance of topics, and that is indeed the strongest advantage
