紧急求助：Washington(Olin), Minnesota(Carlson),SMU(Cox)

这三个学校到底选哪个？均无奖学金。想学FINANCE或GENERAL MANAGEMENT.马上要交定金了。

Olin has uncosigned loan while Minnesota has second year assistant ship.  In general , Olin's reputation is better than Minnesota except in Minnesota state.

About Olin.

Olin大约每年大约可以给10000刀贷款，不需要cosigner. 加上暑期实习收入和奖学金，资金方面自己算算。

Olin的dean退休了，新的dean的人选未定，留下一个很大的悬念。从Olin给教授开出的薪金水平推测，新dean应该是很强的。 看过一个Bschool教授收入水平的排名，记得Olin在top15之列。这不，Olin刚把Wharton的就业办公室主任挖了过来。据一位在Olin商学院读PHD的老兄称，Olin的教授平均水平不比Berkeley差，虽然这说法可能有些偏颇， 但总的来说师资力量方面私立学校比公立还是有优势的。Olin所在的washington大学可是赫赫有名，去年和dartmouth并列排名全美第九（USNEWS)。就业方面，过去的就业办一直不能让学生满意。但是就这样，在最困难的2002,03年，大部分中国人都找到工作留了下来。 04年毕业生开始挑剔工作的好坏了，有人拿到不错的offer。相信今年新的就业办主任会有所作为,以后的就业形势会往好的方向发展。

For ranking, the 3 MBA programs are all located in tie-2.

For location, I agree the Carlson is very cold. But I think the more important factor is the job placement of that location. So I prefer the MBA programs in big cities. Minneapolis is one of the biggest metropolitian in USA and according to carlson's website and USNews data, the placement reaches to 90%.

For the university ranking and fame, the Olin is by no means the best one

So you should think about what factor is more important to you, then decided which to go..
