UNC Chapel Hill - all you need to know

UNC Chapel Hill is at the center of Research Triangle Park (RTP) in North Carolina. The whole area is rapidly growing, and has been ranked as top 5 of most rapidly developing area in US, peered with Austin, Texas. The incoming population is sky rocketing, so does the real estate market needs. Both are great indicator of fast ecomonic development. climate wise, chapel hill is fantastic, especially for me who come from up state new york. The area is peacefull for a great study period and active enough that you won't be bored at all with friends, parties and outing!

The school itself has a very strong reputation in southern area of the US. For those want to stay post MBA, there will be vast opportunities across the country, thanks for Kenan-Flagler (KF) alumni networks. What you would gain the most from an MBA program is its alumni networks. An effective and friendly network is the key of success after the MBA. I heard the team spirit in my first visit at UNC KF B-school, this very strong tie of alumni and current student gets stronger and stronger when i'm getting close to my class of 2017.

Concentration wise, UNC KFBS is well know for marketing, finiance, healthcare, and consulting. In each of these areas, you will gain tremendous help from the successful alumni over the world, and with the top guidance from the industry leaders! Its AWS program is also a great LiangDian, which gets you very poised at the overwhelming begining of the program.

Those are a few points that out of my head at this moment about KFBS. Sorry, i cannot input Chinese at my current PC, but i will let other current students and alumni from KFBS to continue this thread!

昨天参加了他们关于国际学生的webinar，最深的印象就是他们的student service做得非常细致，而且对它们的Career Management Center还是蛮有信心的，他们的意见都很中肯，没有什么花架子。

我是2016届的Monica, 之前是2y Big 4 audit+1 yr Big 4 Advisory, interested in tech finance, 外加一些pro bono consulting的经验。looking for a career at tech company, esp mid-sized start-up.的确不是一个typical 的道路哈，不过我自己是走得辛苦而开心的。
坦诚说UNC的确不是那些响亮的名校，但是可以利用的资源我觉得是足够多的。重点是，你真的知道自己想要什么。或者，知道怎么找到自己想要的。
很乐意回答大家的问题，关于MBA的关于UNC的都可以。我想申请到名校的大牛们自然厉害，但是大多数人还是想要知道拿到T15-20的offer是怎样的纠结心路吧。很乐意回答大家的问题，也算是整理自己的一些思考。
