Hi Frank,
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts.
The plan is to work full time in a subsid ...
Hello there,
So far things look good here. You will have to take those tests and get those exams scores to know exactly where you can fit, but I like what I see.
Let me start with your first question: An EMBA really makes more sense only if you want to continue to work while you are doing your MBA. In about half the cases, the EMBAs will be sponsored from their firm, and in the other half they will do it themselves. It is a good degree for older, more experienced candidates who know they want to remain in industry.
The MBA on the other hand is good for those who want to take time off of work. It is especially recommended if you know you want to make a big industry or function change. In your case, I think you could go with either, depending on your work situation and needs. Keep in mind that the regular MBA is generally considered a bit more prestigious by employers, although an EMBA has its advantages too.
For the suitable schools, like I mentioned it will depend on your test scores, but also on your work experience, your performance and how fast you are progressing. I would need a bit more detail to answer you here.
Feel free to write back with any follow-up questions,
Best,
